Due to the COVID-19 regulations, it has been decided to initially only allow 15 passengers per cabin.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the cable car will operate from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 58 CCTV cameras have reportedly been installed to monitor the cable car service around the clock.<\/p>\n<p>The entire project was built at an estimated cost of 560 million Indian rupees (approximately 6 million euros).The project was launched in 2006 as part of the Brahmaputra river bank beautification project.
